Bring the heat
In the US, Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer. Now that your customers have had a taste of good weather, your season’s sure to jump into full swing – make sure you’re fully prepared.
Service outage: Several Ascend online services will be down beginning at 11:00 pm Central time on Tuesday, May 29 for scheduled maintenance. We expect this outage to last less than 30 minutes. The affected features include:
- Email and SMS (text) messaging
- Trek Card (payments and applications)
- Integrated ordering (including Trek Order Grids)
- eCommerce integration (sales downloads and product uploads)
- Ascend Online Reports (AOR)
- (multi-store retailers) Customer totals for all locations in the Customer Panel.
- Suggested topics in the Help buttons throughout the program (but don’t worry – our online self-help resources won’t be affected, so you can still search for the topics you need!)
Bike to Work Week: While May is National Bike Month, the weather in Wisconsin doesn’t always cooperate with that plan. We’ll be celebrating Wisconsin Bike Week next week, June 2-9. If the weather in your area was equally as crummy and you didn’t get out as much as you’d hoped, join us for a do-over and kick off the season in style.
Scratch & Win: Are you a Trek Connect Retail Marketing participant? Keep an eye out for your E-bike Scratch & Win campaign materials, and make sure your Ascend system is set up by downloading the coupon codes you’ll need. Review our knowledge base article to brush up on all the details.
Connect with your customers: The June 2018 version of Ascend is close – and with it comes a hot new way to improve your relationship with your customers. We’re offering integration with the Listen360 Customer Engagement Platform to provide you with automated customer survey tools.
Surveys are sent the day after a customer makes a purchase at your store. They’ll be asked for an honest review of their experience. Happy customers will then be asked to share the love on social media sites (like Google and Facebook) – while those who were less than thrilled will be asked to give you feedback on how you can improve. You can choose to receive immediate notification of “detractors” – which allows you to personally contact the customer in order to make it right.
Best of all – this integration is 100% included in your Ascend subscription fees. There are no hidden, extra costs involved! Reserve your spot at the front of the pack and get notified as soon as we begin accepting signups.
