No sweat swipes: Processing payments with your system is a vital part of your business. And we want to make it as easy as possible.
Earlier this year, we found an error causing issues with payments made with certain cards. After working with our payment partners, we’re happy to announce that we’ve implemented a fix!
The new version of Ascend brings with it updated processing for REI and other branded MasterCards. After upgrading to Fall 2017, be sure to run the firmware update on each of your payment terminals. Then, simply process the credit or debit cards as normal and voila! No other action required.
Keep your money: Every sale is a success – unless it was made to the wrong person. Avoid losing money by keeping an eye out for scammers. That means:
- Using the built-in protection of EMV payment processing with your Ingenico terminals.
- Avoiding manual/keyed credit card transactions for new customers.
- Asking for ID verification whenever necessary, and especially for larger transactions.
- Processing sales in-store instead of over the phone.
In most cases, if a sale seems too good to be true – it might just be! Play it safe and encourage your team to keep an eye out for suspicious activity any time a high-value item is involved.
Time is running out. Save today: You’ve only got a few more days to take 15% off the Zebra ZD410 label printer and Epson TM-T88VI receipt printers with Ethernet connections. Easily share them between workstations without worrying about what the next Windows update might change. Place your order today and take back control!
