Ascend now delivers more frequent ecommerce uploads from your in-store point-of-sale to your SmartEtailing website. The best part? It starts today and happens automatically!
Online retail worldwide saw sustained Black Friday-level web traffic for nearly two months earlier this year. And while we believe the peak of these sales might have passed, we’ve worked with our partners at SmartEtailing to help with the high levels of online shopping we anticipate as the world moves forward into the new normal.
So we collaborated to identify the best ways to invest in our customers. Today we’re happy to announce that we’ve upgraded your SmartEtailing ecommerce uploads!
Ascend integrated retailers can now take advantage of more frequent product inventory uploads each day for all retail locations from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm PST. Updates are processed automatically every two hours. No action required.
You read that right – there’s no need to update or configure the change on your end. We’ve already worked with the team at SmartEtailing to ensure an easy transition during this busy time.
This change also removes Ascend’s manual ecommerce export process. But we wanted to bring you this updated functionality as soon as possible, so you’ll still see the option on your workstations while our development team finalizes app updates.
This enhancement was part of a joint effort with your ecommerce provider meant to deliver your business with long term value as you adapt to meet evolving customer expectations and safety in their shopping experience.
